GLOBAL WARMING brings
a water crisis to many parts of the world. In Tasmania the crisis
is made considerably worse by duplicitous Tasmanian and Australian
governments together with corporate greed in an endless quest
to gain power and wealth. Change in Tasmania cannot come from
within as greed and corruption is intrinsic within major identities
of each side of the political spectrum who are in bed with their
corporate masters. As a result many in the Tasmanian Community
are virtually powerless as they witness their water catchments
being systematically destroyed, robbed of water and contaminated
with toxins which are banned in many other parts of the world.
As such, they send a desperate S.O.S. to the World Community
for help.

An experience you'll never forget !
Imagine staying in the luxury of a renovated church, you don't
have to share with anyone, you get the entire church to yourself.
Pendragon Hall is one of Hobart's most unique and historical
sandstone residences. It's like a giant hotel room but a thousand
times better with an extensive history, amazing architecture,
ambience and great acoustics to help you enjoy your stay. The
church features enormous stained glass windows, high ceilings
and the original pipe organ. An outdoor setting allows you to
relax in the small but beautiful church garden.....

Tasmania,
the island state of Australia, is separated from mainland Australia
by the 240 km stretch of Bass Strait and is an archipelago of
more than 300 islands. Tasmania is a land of dramatic coastlines,
rugged mountains, spectacular wilderness and sparkling highland
lakes.
Tasmania claims to have the world's cleanest air, the purest
water and along with its rich red fertile soils, a competitive
edge is gained in its ability to produce some of the world's
most superb wines, finest foods and exotic fare from this clean
and natural environment.
Tasmania possesses an abundance of resourcefulness within its
people which is encapsulated by their creativity, design, artistic
endeavors, culture and ingenuity thus together with the clean
and green image establishes the Tasmania Brand.
A land apart... a place of wild and beautiful landscapes,
clean and green environment, friendly welcoming people combined
with a pleasant temperate climate, wonderful wine and food
and a cultural difference with relaxed island lifestyle.
Notwithstanding the above, this website will not mislead potential
visitors by excluding some negative virtues of Tasmania that
by any world standard devalues and ridicules the Tasmanian Brand,
as once here, visitors may be disappointed to see such things
as the scars on our forest hillsides which are in part the subject
of our mission statement below.
It is unfortunate, that a minority of the fertile Tasmanian
creativity and ingenuity has over the years insidiously grown
in the quarters of evil political and corporate corruption,
greed and stupidity, that has deceived an honest and trusting
Tasmanian population leading to such activities that brand Tasmania
as are displayed at our sister website, Discover-Tasmania.com
This website will always tell both sides of the tourism in Tasmania
story in order that the potential visitor may make an informed
decision as to whether Tasmanian tourism deserves the greatly
valued visitor's presence.

"It
reads like a John Grisham novel a story about corporate
greed, political corruption and environmental destruction that
demonstrates how parties on both sides of the political spectrum,
and business can collaborate so an organisation is protected
by legislation to become Australias largest woodchipping
company."

FROM
THE TASMANIAN TIMES
"While readers in New York, London and Paris can read
about the tragedy of Tasmania in major articles in the New York
Times, the Observer and Le Figaro, you won't read about it in
Tasmania if Tasmanian Premier Jim Bacon has his way. Never before
in its history has Tasmania received such major international
attention, all of it with a similar theme: the extraordinary
beauty of Tasmania, the uniqueness of its society, and the stupidity
and destructiveness of its government. Still, with a capacity
that might make an Iraqi information minister blush for delivering
a good news story in the face of all evidence to the contrary,
Premier Bacon would seem angered by any outbreak of the truth
on his home turf."
